Committee Roles
The following roles have been defined by the management committee as necessary for the effective operation of the Pub Group.

Committee members are elected annually at the Pub Group AGM.
​
Management meetings are held monthly and vary between online and in-person events. The AGM is held annually in the Autumn.

Chair
The Chair provides overall leadership to the Trawden Forest Pub Group committee, ensuring effective governance and adherence to the organization's mission. They preside over meetings, facilitate discussions, and guide decision-making processes. The Chair acts as a spokesperson for the group and works collaboratively with all members to ensure the smooth operation and fulfillment of the group's objectives in maintaining the Trawden Arms and supporting its tenant.

Vice Chair

The Vice Chair plays an active role in decision-making and contributes to the overall success of the Trawden Forest Pub Group.

Treasurer

This includes overseeing income and expenditures related to the Trawden Arms, such as rent collection, payments for repairs and maintenance, and managing the group's bank accounts. The Treasurer ensures accurate record-keeping, prepares financial reports, and works closely with the committee to ensure financial stability and transparency.

The Bids & Grants Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial sustainability of the group and its ability to maintain the Trawden Arms as a valuable community asset.

Tenant Liaison

The Tenant Liaison ensures effective communication and collaboration to foster a successful tenancy and a thriving pub environment.
